Profile

Name: Ally Fraser

Sport: Curling

I started curling when I was 12 years old at a local club bonspiel for Ardclach. I started playing in under 17s comps and on my last year it was the 1st year off the under 17s Grand slam playing 3 comps without lossing a game. So our prize for that was to go to a summer camp at Fussen in Germany.

Last year I won the Scottish Juniors. So went to Canada to play in the worlds and finished 7th.

Last year won a comp in Canada called Oak Island, great to win over there. Won the Scottish Juniors for second year in a row, and represented Scotland again this year in Flims, Switzerland. Lost 1st game then won the rest. Won the 1-2 game then lost the final to Switzerland in there home country!!!! It was really close and came down to the last stone. So got silver.

Year 2 off H.I.S starts aim for this season is to win the Scottish Juniors for 3 years in a row and represent Scotland again this year. The worlds are being held in Perth Scotland. And I would like to do 1 better this year and win gold.

In the future I would like to represent Scotland at worlds and also play at olympic level.
