| Name: Alan Clyne Sport: Squash ![]() | Alan who is 22 years old is originally from Munlochy on the Black Isle but now lives in Edinburgh. He was introduced to Squash by his father when he was 5 years old. He has been with the Highland Institute of Sport since 2002 and has progressed to be Scotland’s number 1 Squash Player. Alan first represented Scotland at the Home Internationals at under 14 level and rates his best performance of his career to date as becoming the Scottish Junior Champion in 2004. Having now completed his University course, Alan will compete full-time for the first time. This year he has had some fantastic victories, in Charleston, USA, he beat the number 1, 2 and 3 seeds to win the tournament and at the Artemis Open in Edinburgh he beat the former England world number three, Simon Parke. |
